WELCOME
Learning and playing is fun!
We are a private English-speaking kindergarten located in Itä-Pasila, Helsinki. We are happy to welcome children from 1 to 6 years old to our warm and safe kindergarten. We have groups for different ages: small children 1-3 years old, 3-4 years old and 5 years old.
When children are 6 years old they can continue their pre-primary education (pre-school) in our daycare.
During the day the children will go through several activities and routines and have a meal three times a day. The premises of our kindergarten is spacious and big to enable the children to move around the building easily. Estimated capacity of the building is 45 children, however we are having around 25-30 on a yearly basis. This allows even the most timid children to acclimatize to the kindergarten environment easily and become an active part of it.
We operate from August till the end of June and take vacations during the Christmas holidays and in July. Autumn and skiing holidays are not compulsory holidays for the kindergarten system so we will be open during those, however this topic can be open for discussions for children whose families want to take holidays.
Our activities are brain-stormed by our team members and we are open to innovative teaching methods and innovations in our curriculum, of course by considering children’s own perspectives and interests. In order to provide this we do development days and discuss the best options to make the individual approach easier.
You are very welcome to meet us in our kindergarten!
